二、故事背景：

1.噬神者（又名“噬神战士”）：

2.神机（又名“机之神”）：
什么是神机？在游戏中，让荒神的细胞与人体相连接并被作为武器使用的就是“神机”了。它是噬神者在战斗中使用的强力武器，种类也有区别，由于神机属于一种生物武器，所以可以对敌人发起吞噬等特殊攻击。而这套系统具体包括；剑形态：在剑形态下既可以使用大范围的挥斩，也可使用近斩来发动连续攻击；枪形态：除了狙击以及突击效果，能将属性附加在弹药上也是枪形态的一个特征；捕食形态：将神机寄存的荒神细胞解放，武器就会进入捕食形态。它可以在一定时间内捕获并复制敌人的能力。而以上不同武器的捕食形态也各有不同，能力上也会有一些变化。

看到psp版《噬神者》（god eater）的画面之后，很多玩家都会觉得这是一款“未来世界版”的《怪物猎人》吧？没错，它们两者在敌人、武器设定以及基本游戏方式上都有着惊人的相似。但这对于掌机玩家来说也是一件好事，本作的出现给联机合作类游戏带来了一种新的思路，感兴趣的玩家赶紧来看看具体情报吧！
1.不同种类的神机：
游戏最大特色在于让武器吃掉怪物来夺取怪物能力的捕食系统。当神机切换为捕食型态时，所连接的荒神细胞会变化成血盆大口的模样，以咬啮方式来攻击怪物。当成功吃掉怪物之后，就会进入“神机解放状态”，攻击威力与行动速度大幅提升，还可以在一定时间内施展两段跳与冲刺攻击等行动，并可获得怪物拥有的特殊攻击子弹。
2.“神机模式”之───解放：
