【內容簡介】：
這是一部以美式足球為題材的體育漫畫作品，並且充滿了街頭風味，亦有著不少惹笑橋段。
此作品由稻垣理一郎編寫，由村田雄介繪畫，由《週刊少年Jump》連載，
至今已出版了29集單行本。 2005年4月推出同名體育動畫，正在日本東京電視台播放中。
節目於2006年7月8日開始在台灣電視台播放，於2007年4月24日起在香港無線電視翡翠台播放。

故事很傳統的從一所普通學校開始,因為是講美式足球,所以不意外的話,
這所學校一定有一個面臨倒閉的美式足球社團,在社團中有幾個狂熱喜歡美式足球,
夢想進入類似"甲子園","全國大賽"之類的某高中大型聯賽,可惜一直湊不齊人手,
無奈下這些家伙一直苦苦磨練著自己,直到一天一個完全陌生的預備天才/前選手/熱血教練出現,
然後招兵買馬一步步實現夢想.以上,最標准的定律,但是卻在ES21里完全被粉碎,
功臣自然就是蛭魔這個變態了.浦一出場,就盯上了主角小早川瀨那的跑步能力,
想把他拖進自己的隊伍,然而采取的方法卻是騙取對方家中電話,
然後無恥的瘋狂電話騷擾(而且這段處理得還非常符合邏輯|||),
被折磨的無可奈何的瀨那在無意間闖入了美式足球社團的房間, 被社團唯二的成員栗田良寬感動,
想成為一名出色的美式足球球隊經理, 當然……這估計永遠只是個夢罷了.
